Counter and Barstools Measure your counter, measure your counter, measure your counter. 90% of the time counter heights are 36", 9% of the time they are 42". The other 1% is made up of carpenters and designers who don't know better. Counter stools seat heights run between 24" and 26", while barstool seats run about 30". All of our stools are available counter height , while most of them are available at the bar height. If you happen to be part of the one percenters, our apologies. Actually all hope is not lost we do have a few manufacturers who will custom size their stools, or although iffy at best my skill with a saw is always up for a challenge. Most stools come in many finishes and usually have a matching chair, so if your going for the whole table-chair-stool matching Ikea thing we can do that too. You would probably expect with all these choices we would have whatever you order ready in a couple of days. I really hope you don't expect that, while we do carry a few select styles in stock (1-3 weeks) the average is about 8 weeks for most.
